An opportunity to play with scale, Jaelah took a small common object and blew it up to gigantic proportions giving it a whole new use. Laying on its side, this lipstick functions as a bench with 3 different heights as well as housing for a subwoofer. It is activated by a trail of red lipstick drawn out the tip of the tube and scribbling up the wall. The red swirling gesture line leads your eye high up and eventually peels off the wall transforming into the stem of an elegant household lamp overhead.
Lipstick is a symbol of feminine power- a choice to enhance, embolden, and saturate your already existing beauty. Regardless of our gender identity, we all have masculine and feminine energies within us. This expression of bold fiery feminine power is for all people to embrace.
